If you have dual core cpu this may help: open task manager - processes, right click on javaw.exe, set affinity, and set only one core marked.

Also, if you have on Low FPS, it "might" be because you are displaying personal claims and village claims. I know my computer slows down to a snails pace when there are huge claims nearby and I have them set to display. I move a mile a day. Just turn them off, or zoom your camera in as close as you can get to counting sand on the beach.

Yeh happens to me but I have it turned off all the time as it takes me down to like 4 fps.
