True, but if the original client lags on a quad core with crossfired boards, i doubt you're going to get decent FPS on ANY machien with a field that size...let alone @ 1920X1080 holy fuck shit.

Maybe change it to limit the sprites to 2 or 3 z layers and draw those layers as sprites that get used many times? I'm not super big on graphics tech coding so I don't really know how it all works at a low level but I'd bet there's a better way than just drawing 20 odd sprites per tile.


The problem is, the random placement is half the problem.

Instead of making 1 sprite that symbolizes 4 carrots planted in an orderly :: fashion they now render 4-6 different sprites per tile because random placement is involved.

mine's from a little outside noobville
to well into level 10 animals and i have
no problems with the lag,
2x 300 +? plants to be my little guide
