Get a new ISP. You shouldn't pay for such a crappy service.

We don't, usually. But if my suspicions are correct then there's nothing wrong with our provider, but the lines themselves.

THis is as it was with my DSL. Bad filters and then old lines that the company replaced free of charge, both times.

That is what happens, though; the server logs you off when it doesn't receive any word from you for 30 seconds. It is worth noting that I have, previously, seen peoples' Internet connections fail in such a way that they can receive messages from the server, but cannot send anything back, so if things still appear to be updating when you're "suddenly" logged off, that might be what's happening.

I've been having the same problem as the OP and that's not a connection problem. I've started the client while pinging the game server. No latency, no packets loss, I still get booted; other things prove that my connection is fine too. Something else is wrong.
