@ dondy

the fact that you have to do some things twice is not because of your computer or logging on and of, its because of the server crashes.
but the wonky mouse is because of your computer, or more beecause java kinda sucks...

well somehow a fix should be made. i think it is also a high priority problem.

I dont want to tell the developers how to their work, but if I were to make a game i would make sure its foundations were solid and stable before working on the actual game it self.

i dont know if i just didnt realize it before or if its actually happpening, but i feel that the game keeps getting more and more unplayable, or, not-so-fun-to-play. the mouse is totally wonky and stuff. i have a decent pc...
if theres anything that can be done from the dev's side i would appreciate it over the next major development... harvesting is no fun nymore :o

I think it's because of the amount of crops onscreen. It's fair to assume there's about 200 tiles of crops onscreen when you harvest our crops.

Even though I'm aware that the client would need to be faster, I don't really have that bad problems myself, and all I've got is a 7200-series GeForce, which was, simple, the cheapest I could find when I bought it. What kind of hardware do you have, kimya?

It should be said that I've noticed that Intel graphics cards seem to have specific performance problems -- in particular when copy framebuffer data back to a texture, and I don't really have any idea how to make that go any faster.

It's unlikely to be your CPU issue, but be aware that jogl (the Java Open GL binding that the H&H client uses) has a memory leak bug when combined with some mobility radeon cards (problem appears to reside in ATI drivers) :

ive got a Toshiba laptop 1.8ghz pentium M processor and an Intel Onboard (shit) graphics card.

but i can play CS, quake 3, and all 2d singleplayer/mmo games without a hitch. this is the only one.
it sucks if we need a good computer to run something which shouldnt need so much memory and power. I bet its coz its in java and in applet form.

It's not an applet. It's an application, it's run through Java WebStart, which is a fancy way of making sure your computer downloads the files when they're updated and allocates enough memory and so forth.
