ok so i can exclude certain Speedport Routers :)

can you do a tracert to the server? Open up cmd.exe
there you'd need to cd to system32 by putting in following one after another (in case you don't know how)

cd ..

cd..

cd windows

cd system32

Code: Select all
tracert moltke.seatribe.se

you might screenshot the output or right click on top frame command window: edit -> choose all, another right: edit - copy and paste here

looks good - still have some time?!?

Let''s try different: with a custom client (Ender)
create a folder called Ender - then dl into
https://github.com/EnderWiggin/haven-up ... pdater.jar

when done just run the updater.jar by doubleclicking - it should fill the folder with files then start Ender client

when it runs and you can connect we'll just have to create a run.bat for it so you can start it independent from updater.jar :)

Right... It went through all of them and the message it displayed said "No updates for -add .jar file here- ", the only 2 files that exist in the folder is updater.jar and updater.txt :S

k you got a PM ...

Update: uploaded him a fresh Ender client - he was able to run.it but got a "Connection timed out: connect" when trying to log in - as i think it might be related to problems in his providers network (hops 4+5 in tracert) i suggested to call their hotline for a technican talk ...

Small update from myself, I was wondering if there would be any other options available to try before contacting their tech support. I had to deal with their tech support before and they literally take you through a FAQs list and ask you retarded questions such as "Is it on" "Is the ethernet plugged in" and they even blamed my PC for some connection issues at the time cause the Router would not properly connect. To reach the end of that story, it was a faulty router and I got a new one.

Anyhoo though, anyone has any other solutions we could possibly try? I've been watching Youtube vids all night, I really wanna give this game a try!
