I have heard reports that using a bugged grinder allowed a character to reach a strength of 500+ in short order, any idea of that Jorb?

As for the offer, I was going to toss it in an oven, where it could do the least amount of damage. At most, it would allow one person to gain 4 attributes (Probably CON). Though they could possibly make a super necro cloak. In any case, what MIGHT have happened and what actually happened are two completely different things.

The grinder at no point in its code tries to modify, or even look for, the strength of the character using it, so I strongly doubt that, but, as I said, I really don't have any overview statistics at all, so I can't say I know for sure. If you have a name I'll look it up, but I doubt it. Strongly.

I meant using the grinder to make piglet wursts that gave 300+ FEP.

Eh? I addressed you twice, and in neither instance was I rude. But I digress.

It's also been stated a few times that bugs can be used as long as they're reported.

However, some people don't do that, instead keep the bugs from themselves and try to extend their time they can use the bug.

Sorry my post was mostly aimed at rift, who called me scum. Which I found quite ridiculous when looking at the original thread about the charcoal again where he talks of crafting epic equipment with it.

I apologize if i came off as unnecessarily hostile. It is merely that being accused of using bugs to gain advantage, when i never have, combined with it being used as a justification to use bugs to become superpowerful in a short amount of time, thus making light of all the time and effort I and others have put in, tends to make me hostile.
As to what i intended to do with the coal, i could simply say i was intending to hand it directly to the devs or merely test it out and report exactly what happened [after all it could of just been a display glitch, and thus done nothing.] I don't really intend to defend myself more then this however, as it's not like you could of known my intentions, since it never came about.

Quality can obviously produce some pretty flaky numbers. Should be remembered, though, that even a Gogolplex quality sausage is only going to increase the relevant stat by one, so you'd still have to eat 500 sausages, but it should be looked into, nevertheless.

500 piglet wurts would still be a lot easier than 3290 of the old bear bangers ;)

Ok since I apologized for this earlier, since I simply didn't know any better, I think we can bury the hatchet now.
Another thing is that one could argue about using macros as another form of bugabusing (not saying you used macros, just a general statement).

One last thing, it is not like we are now twice as strong as the other high lp chars. We were far too busy building our city so the abuse of the high quality stuff was quite limited.
