Grapefruit is right, I do recall some threads being posted about such occurrences. Though it was never really made into a big deal. This could have some relation to each other.

So I tried to travel to our village idol using travel on my wifes char because she had the materials to build a HF inside the log cabin. It started the progress bar so I canceled it thinking that it meant it would work. I build her a hearth fire inside the cabin and proceeded to travel to the village... The hourglass ran through and then dissappeared... Her char is now completely stuck inside the log cabin and cannot get out..

if char has not enough str to break hf, it is not that big loss, I guess :)

The Char is a farmer. Strength really is not much of a concern. Despite the fact she can not break a HF. Her loss would hurt.

Her char can't destroy it, I've been trying and trying... and she has no food inside the cabin :-(

Her char only has 18 str, she was focused purely on farming... She is very upset.... Does anybody have any idea's of how I might be able to get her out?

Is it possible that if we construct another village claim that I could add her to the village thru party by clicking the portrait?

I believe toons need to be outside, not inside houses, to be added to villages.
I hope Im wrong for her sake, but dont think so. Sorry

Sadly, Cranny is right. The character must be outside in order to be oathed to a village.
