Confirmed. I asked another player without this issue to check their tracert. They do NOT go through init7.net.

For some reason init7.net is dropping the packets.

Unconfirmed. I have this issue and don't go through init7.net.

Edit: I take that back, I sometimes do go through init7.net, the rest of the time is through Level3.net (a faster path through the US).

Also, this is a new issue since the world 4 update.

I've changed nothing in the networking code for world 4, however, so if this really did not happen previously, it's probably a result of the traffic being heavier since the start of world 4.

Unfortunately, this whole issue is kind of hard for me to debug, since neither my home nor any other site I've tried playing from has exhibited the problem. FWIW, my route does not go through init7.net:

Not knowing much about networking, the best i can do is switch my ip over to a static. Anyways , is there anything WE can do to fix it/help fix it ???

That's just for configuring your local routing; you cannot affect the route your packets travel over the wider Internet.

If you're having the problem happening to you, try tracing the route as others have done previously in this thread. It would be interesting to see if init7.net indeed is a common factor to all those having problems.

I am also having this problem, it's basically impossible to play during peek hours.

I haven't had the "already logged in" message but I get disconnected ever 1-3 minutes repeatedly. I was able to stay logged in for hours at a time without problems during W3.

I thought it may have been GIlbertus at first but I am seeing that people are having the same problem using the default client.

I am also from Canada and I have no idea what init7 is so I'm pretty sure I am not using it
