I've meant it as a joke and I aplogize if that was unclear. Nevertheless I know what you mean and how broken claiming the entire underdark is.
Big factions still has a lot of usage of extra resource nodes as the top one will be devoted for quality growth while the lower ones will be used for miscellaneous and curiosity materials. This is not even taking into account that curiosities spawned take whatever quality that the node is spawned upon making it even more contested even if you have 5 other nodes of the same type.
One thing that concerns me is this. No matter what anyone does, there will always be exploitable loopholes, bugs, and mechanic abuses. It's not the question of if there are any potential bugs and abuses (there will) but is there a mean to deter abuse of them when they are discovered. The whole abuse didn't start at world 6, it started at world 2 (potentially world 1 but I wasn't around) with the entire bug wood. If that wasn't punished, even if it was taken away, what would stop them from finding another and milking it for all its worth, staying ahead in the long run when the advantage is taken away.
This might be a tad bit problematic for the developers as they prefer not to be policing their game and they rather continue development (in which from their standpoint I agree). I hope there is a plan to make said users suffer some "unfortunate" fate (been abusing a bug to gain massive LP? Ops, next day you find yourself with -6 billion LP and skills because you "broke" your character) because they tampered with something beyond their understanding. It's really up in the air on how this is done and I do not have any concrete ideas on details on how to do this.
