Stop posting. This is not a troll, I am dead serious. I've been here for a while and did not see anything but textual diarrhea coming from you. Stop posting.

Now, let me break this down for your autistic persona: A claim is placed. Claims have certain properties, such as preventing players from entering without a crime flag. Forcefully entering a claim leaves a scent. If a claim, under certain circumstances does NOT do what it is supposed to, it is a bug. You cannot argue that it's not. You cannot argue that cabins are not supposed to be built underground because this is not about cabins. This is about claims. Unless you have a post, made by a developer, clearly saying "it is a bug, claims are not supposed to be placed underground", you have no case and have been shitting on this thread because it is literally the only thing you can do.

I'd like to be the first to thank you for actually putting forth a valid argument and not just trolling.

LoL GoOnS

Below ground potentially placing a claim is a bug.

Is the bug that below ground claims work different to above ground claims or That you can build below ground claims to start with? You assume the former sammi assumes the latter

Tinsley wrote:You cannot argue that it's not.

You can always argue, I'm pretty sure you've proven that ;)

Tinsley wrote:You cannot argue that cabins are not supposed to be built underground because this is not about cabins. This is about claims.

Cabins are one of the many items that are potentially not supposed to be built undergound. It's related to the argument that if cabins stopped working underground, then that wouldn't be a bug if the dev's planned to remove them from underground eventually anyway... It's kind of like, if foxes were in the water, but couldn't be killed while in the water, then the bug would not be that they couldn't be killed in the water, it'd be that they were in the water to start with... Assuming we're not living in a world gone topsy turvy...

Dead serious, can you string letters into words and words into sentences? Can you then digest that information and understand exactly what was being said?

but no...

I'm able to read and write. I can also count past ten...

Guys, what are you all screaming about? Jorb and Loftar both posted on the first page of this thread.

jorb wrote:

Confirmed.

loftar wrote:Well, it is only personal claims that count for insides of cabins and mines, not village authority. It can be argued that that should be fixed, but it is that way currently.

Granted, they're completely opposite statements and both are incorrect, but the one thing that can be drawn from them is that the current scenario (the insides of mines being public territory no matter what) is not how it's supposed to be.

I think a cool long-term solution might be something along the lines of "zoning" where a chieftan/founder could go tile-by-tile or designate corners for an area within a township to become "residential" and allow private claims to be put down.

That way, mines could follow jorb's model of being township owned and then zoned on the inside for private use. Best of both worlds.

In the meantime however at least working claims in the mine would be nice. Goons are Dwarfy.

1. Implement Dwarves
2. Implement non-wood buildings
