Not really if they are doing away with it ......
Anyway, no point in two conversations about it.

To clarify, I was referring to the "So maybe they want a game more focused on factions and less on survival or individual stuff." part specifically, nothing else

:?

Makes sense to me. :)

Meant that the debate was moot in relation to oathing in this version of the game I'm well aware that my argument is more than a little garbled
They've also mentioned approaching future development with a single player focus, meaning not focused on factions and less on individual stuff

Why exactly are you talking to me as if I'm illiterate?
What is it you think I don't understand?

I'll try one last time ....................

I know what you meant, my reply is meaning the discussion isn't moot per se, which I would have thought was blatantly obvious as oathing has been fixed now.
As for what they have said, again, I can read, I think you'll find it was Ven who made the comment with regard to focusing on factions, so you have no need to repeat the devs 'intentions' to me, or explain that single player focus is not focusing on factions.

But thanks.

THIS TITLE HAS TOO MANY SPACES AND EXCLAMATION MARKS

Lol what's going on in this thread?

Yes, that's what they said. But what matters is what they will end up doing, and the talk was about them reworking trade and oathing in such a manner that would make the life of casual hermits and non-faction players very hard as several of us pointed out - so hard, in fact, that for me the most reasonable way out would be to join major villages, thus bloating factions, reducing loner population, and increasing sociability. You denied that was the case, and I argued that this might be case.

I'm just saying, there is something to be said for making long distance travel a necessity, the world feels so empty with everyone squirreled away behind brick walls.

i will say this tho, the only problem i see in the future is people setting up "miles" of brick walls protecting thier trade routes which would hamper travel and exploration for those who arnt withen the bwall road
