Possible cheese rack glitch

Postby Malicus » Fri Jul 24, 2009 6:56 am

I built a cheese rack in my cellar, then I decided I wanted it in my house and moved it up there before putting any curd in it. However, I noticed that the curd had become cellar cheddar instead of tasty emmentaler. I'm trying again to be sure, but I suspect that its location somehow didn't get updated when it got moved.

You can lift cheese racks?
You see a masterful engraving by Blaze. On it is Blaze, bears, boars, and foxes. Blaze is striking down the bears. The boars are screaming. The foxes are in a fetal position. The image relates to the return of Blaze in the late winter of 2009.

When there's nothing in them, yes.

Ran into this bug as well. Built 3 cheese racks outdoors then moved them into the cellar and put cheese curds on them and they matured into Cellar Cheese as normal, but then I moved the racks into the cabin and put the Cellar Cheeses into them and all 9 cheese wheels turned into Generic Gouda. At a separate log cabin I did the same thing, but instead of Generic Gouda I received Brodgar Blue Cheese.

Anyone have a workaround?

I can assure you that is not the case.
I'm looking at the code right now, but it is far too much for me to take in in one go,
so we'll have to rely on Loftar, when he comes back. :P

Maybe specifically moving a rack from a cellar to a house doesn't adjust it properly?

A (totally fake) explanation could be that some mould grew on the racks while it was downstairs and has managed to survive long enough to change the cheese... That's what it's all about right? getting the right type of mould?

i started some in my neighbor's cabin, and then he moved it to his cellar and it ended up as cellar cheddar
