"Unable to Launch the Application"

Postby hereticblight » Fri Jul 24, 2009 8:02 pm

Whenever I run autohaven, it slowly downloads, and after a while hangs completely. After a few minutes, I get an "Unable to launch the application" error message.

Here's the exception I get:

I'm running through a router, is there a port I have to forward or something?

Entirely unsure if it will help you as i don't know much about these things but Loftar said the following:

Are you blocking ports by default or something? If you are, Haven uses 1871/tcp (for authentication only) and 1870/udp for the game.
The ones who see things differently.

You can praise them, disagree with them, quote them, disbelieve them, glorify or vilify them. About the only thing you can't do is ignore them.
And while some may see them as the crazy ones, we see genius.

After temporarily disabling the router for the "install", the game works fine now.

Consider this issue resolved, and thanks for the suggestion.
