It seems that the combat list also suffers the same problems as the party member list; once it gets too big, you won't be able to interact with the portraits below a certain height.

It helps me keep track of where my prey is, makes sure they don't disappear or run off, and restricts combat to one-on-one.

And if you lead them to your base, it makes hauling meat a lot easier :P
This is just like boar luring in AoE2.
