H&H loading problem (not .bat command change)

Problem:

From H&H home page.

After logging in and java app started and clicking on character the screen goes to "loading" with the H&H toolbar visible and the background black and it just hangs at that point.

I have made sure the browser is updated, java is updated, java cache is cleared, and all downloaded previous H&H java scripts for H&H deleted from download folder.

I am trying to get this running on an older computer win xp platform single core processor. H&H worked about 6 months ago on this machine.

Any suggestions?

I am guessing this is an isolated case that nobody else has ever encountered, so it must be my computer. I will bump it just this once to check just in case someone missed this post.
