Pursuing Foxes Through Walls

If the graphics are to be believed, I just chased two or three foxes through a brick wall. However, the corpses are inside the wall. It seems I chase through the wall, then catch them inside and kill them. (No I don't seem to chase them back through the wall. We teleport when i catch them.)

[Edit - actually, the fox graphic doesn't cross the wall. it's just my player avatar who runs straight through the wall and keep going for a screen width or so.]

yeah i have seen this as well. ran through a wall after him, hit him again and teleported back to the other side of the wall with his corpse.

You're just seening this now??? This happens to me all the time and has for weeks.

The worst one is when I have a high level animal trapped on one side of a tree or a rock and I'm on the other side gasping for breath and if I'm lucky I'm equiping my bow. And then the animal comes right through the rock and he's now on the same side as me..!! Blind terror. Aigghhh! He's no longer stuck on the rock. I'm about to be turned into mincemeat.

Only he isn't. Several flickers later he's back on the original side of the rock, and I've learned by now to hold my ground and NOT to try to rush around the rock again to try to scrape him off for a second time because that would mean I would be fleeing right back to where the vicious carnivore really is, despite appearing to be fifty pixels directly behind me.

And boy, clicking on foxes who aren't actually where you can see them on the screen is really difficult. Archery presents some challenges under these conditions.

What I really hate is when you try to chase, say a rabbit, and the bugger runs off straight through a cliff or wall or rock.
If they can crawl up cliff faces, I want to do so as well.
