Character seemingly deleted

Postby democracy » Wed Aug 12, 2009 4:34 am

I was in a plot of land, so a killing is unlikely.
I was afk for a couple of minutes, upon returning found my character was logged out, gone.
He's completely removed from my character list, should I see some time of tomb stone or something?

Edit: It's a glitch because a friend apparently has found me standing in the middle of a field.
Edit2: I found him after making another account, I can't add my character as kin, etc., it only gives me the option to follow him.
Very odd bug. He's not listed in my character list anymore.

From what I can tell from your account data, your character is, indeed, dead. Maybe he starved to death?

Either way, you should be able to find has grave in the character creation room.

I can see him ingame. Apparently I'm not dead.
I also do not see a gravestone in the character selection menu.
Will I be able to repossess my character?

I didn't receive any points from him either upon making another character.
Today he's actually the skeleton figure, but last night when I had no control over him he was ALIVE.
I had to watch as my character died in front of me, helpless.
I think it's this type of glitch is unacceptable due to the fact that I lost all my work over a couple of tedious days of work.
I'd like my character back on your fault.

I still think the situation should be rectified.

I don't even see the gravestone.
I completely lost the character.
Absolutely rediculous.

You definitely have a character in your account's "dead list", and from its data, I think I can be pretty sure that the cause of death was, indeed starvation.

Since he is in the dead list, it is close to unthinkable that he wouldn't have a gravestone. Note that the gravestones are in the character creation room, not the real world -- they are to the west of the little pond. If you're really sure it isn't there, then I can try it myself, but doing a forced log-in as your account is quite hard and takes me quite a bit of time, so I'd like you to check really carefully first.

Oh darn, I found him.
I'd like to know why I could see myself alive though. He wasn't a skeleton.
I think it may have killed me before I was actually dead.
Starvation was probably the cause though.
