If you stop pulling one of your carts on a village claim that you do not own or are a part of, you can no longer control it. I'm not sure if this is intended, but I classify it as a bug.

it definitely sucks but i'm not sure i would call it a bug

Also, if you log out on a village claim you can no longer spawn there.
