Dummies

Postby Vlad » Wed Aug 19, 2009 4:32 am

I noticed when I got the Militia Trainning perk it said that I can make Dummies, so I got very excited and went itno my Crafting window. Not there  so I tried my Building window NOTHING  I had wasted my LP, I'am not a Combat Person I was just in it for the Dummy making, so now im hoping that they will fix this Bug in the Future.

The problem with dummies is that if they are a good way to earn LP, then everyone will use one whenever they need LP, rather than gain it by crafting. If they aren't as good as anything else, then nobody will ever use training dummies, because they can get better LP by beekeeping or something. Until combat and crafting are separated somehow, dummies are almost certainly not getting put in, I'm afraid.
Surprise.

it would kinda be cool if you could make a dummy and practice combat moves on it. maybe you could set it's combat level or something and it would give you a better idea if you could really take on a level 4 fox or if you should just stick with level 3s. it shouldn't give lp gain for practicing combat. it would just be a tool so you could actually practice combat.

At this point in the old B12 Various Nonsense, a Quote Pyramid would have formed, but undoubtedly cooler heads will prevail.
