Can't move any futher?

Right so yesterday i found an awesome clay spot.. I stayed there for ages and now im trying to go back up the river i came down yesterday and i can't get all the way up it its as if something is in the way but there is nothing i can see in the way.. Help?

The points of compass don't match left/right/up/down, thus the maps edges run diagonal on your playing screen. You are aware of this, right?

Other than that I can only imagine you have not taken the same route although you think you did. Or small obstacles like frogs have been dropped on the river to keep you from passing and you didn't notice them.

I was collecting mussels last map and noticed something similar happening to me as well. There was no world edge nearby, and I couldn't find any hitboxes. Also, I could walk around, which was strange. What happened was I shot a deer and tried collecting its meat, but there was something preventing me from getting closer to it. I managed to walk around it, tho;ugh. There were some similar tiles in the area preventing me from walking, and I'm fairly sure I didn't have anything put on hide mode.

exactly the same situation but all across a river glad it wasn't just me
