Jokes aside.
The stolen object is that runestune you see there, as the trasspassing scent leads there and its not were we left it.
So, is it a bugged theft scent?

No its completly normal.
Since someone could take a loom or such and hide it.
You can easily just find it by scent.

Sleep, the point it it's a trespass scent, not a theft scent.

Does looked bugged. Perhaps the runestone is alive and it stole itself trespassing in the process.

When using "lift" on land that you have no access with trespassing it pick it up and leaves a trespassing scent, as long as you dont take it over the claim it doesn't turn into a theft scent.
It works like it's suppoused to work,i guess the only wrong thing about this would be that it says track stolen object instead of track moven object.
