Winebottles/glasses/glass related objects all broken.

All pre-reqs are met. Glassmaking, Winemaking, and have raw glass. (Which I made myself) And glass objects have not been unlocked. So unless it requires a end-game 600,000 lp skill that has yet to even show up as an option. Glassmaking is now worthless/broken.

Many items now also require related items to have been discovered - odds are you need to finish creating your own wine (wait a week on the barrel to complete fermentation) and get its discovery to be able to gain the recipe for wine bottles/glasses.

That would indeed be utterly bizarre. But let's say that is the case. Why then would a wine glass require that? Since it does not turn into anything, or used in crafting anything. Just is used to drink the wine. I'll give it a bit, since it'll take a week or so for wine. Nonetheless, this isn't how it "should" work if it is the case.

You'll need to get wine, beer, or vinegar and bucket it out of the barrel. Not like you need those things without a source of alcohol anyway.

to make a teapot or teacup you need to have discovered clay and tea leaves. i don't see why the situation would be different for wineglasses. it might even be as simple as discovering grapes.

Same reason you need to have discovered bark and water via bucket (or flask?) to be able to make a tanning tub - the items themselves are useless without having "proof" for the game that you are able to actually make use of whatever items you wish to create. This requirement does not apply to every item ingame, but the ones it does apply to seem fairly logical in their application.
