Forum email address

I am trying to change my e-mail address in forums profile and it keeps saying I am using wrong password, but that is not correct. I use the same password (ctr+c trl+v) to log in and I can, when I change the e-mail in profile settings and provide the password it does not work.

Also does Jabber notifs work? I tried to set up getting notifications on changes on forum and dont get any.
