Cellar Cheddar to Cave Cheddar problem

It has happened to me twice so far.

Anytime I put Cellar Cheddar in a mine... it just turns into Generic Gouda instead of Cave Cheddar.

In the wiki it says to put in a cave or mine... I thought they counted as the same.


Does a mine not count as a cave?
Has this happened to anyone else?

ive read the same problem reported before on the forums, either on w3 or w4.
try searching in the archive. (i dont think it was solved though.)

I remember having a similar problem with crossing into Milben... or was it Jorbonzola... it ended up that I just didn't check it regularly enough and the cycle to Gouda happened when I wasn't paying attention (or someone took the trays out and put them back in like a jerk)

cave cheddar has been bugged for a long time. i recommend making brodgar blue instead

Do you think it could have anything to do with the difference between cave tiles vs mined out tiles?

tested in w4 on all tiles, - cave, digged, plowed. Cave Cheddar can't be produced. as intended :)
