Anvil Auto-repairs in Cart

So my anvil was red (almost broken), i put it in a cart and drove it to another place in the village, picked it up and it was not red any more.

On another note, it's a bit strange that if i make an anvil out of bronze and it decays, i need cast iron to repair it

EDIT: it seems to be a visual glitch, it goes red again when i relog.
