Why can a single person just hoist a loom above their head and walk around?! Additionally, whilst carrying a loom, a person can then walk into a log cabin. How do you walk into a log cabin with a loom above your head? The loom, in no way, could fit through the door.

Whenever one thinks of realism in a Slavic/Germanic myth-based MMORPG, a bear kills a dozen chickens.

Please, think of the bears.

Surprise.

Even sideways, it looks bigger than the door.

Immovable objects, that can be built relatively easily, in cramped spaces, could cause a lot of trouble. That's why. The lift command is also partly an abstraction of the fact that your character could, theoretically, move the object in question on his own, if he really wanted to. The loom could be dismantled, for example.
