my bow isnt a ranger bow

so, ive got 110 in MM and my bow is Q58, I had two arrows in my quiver, one q 33 and the other in the 40s or 50s. when I tried to aim at a boar that was not moving, my regular bow aimed as if it were a ranger bow, but after attempting and missing the first shot, it went back to normal. this is an odd bug, what im wondering is, if I had hit with the first shot would it have also dealt damage as if it were a ranger bow? anyways, seems to me to be a bug.

yeah, but the difference between the two arrows was not that vast. ive fired with arrows of similar and varying quality before and this has never happened. hell it aimed slower than the q10 arrows I had to use yesterday. running out of arrows in the field is a bitch.

No, it's a hard cap. You only aim as fast as the lower of the arrow or bow. Thus, your MM caps at 2x whatever quality that is.
If it was the q33 arrow, your MM gets capped to 66, the q40+ arrow caps it out 80+. Are you SURE you have the qualities right? Not being able to see what quality arrows you have is a real bitch.

im pretty sure I have the qualities right, the 33 one I saw because I found and added it to my quiver manually, im only assuming the other one becuase I normally use bear or deer bone for my arrows.
actually, now that I think about it, I got this quiver with the arrow already in it. its possible that the one I had before got switched with another one when my old village was raided. I dont remember having only one arrow in it before the raid. so yeah, your prolly right. ill experiment a bit.

I got that a few times just right click try shooting again usualy makes mine go back up to speed.
