I used it at the beginning of the fight, when nobody had an advantage.when using it dont get an advantage of 5. nothing happend.
do I misunderstand the effect?

Sidestep

Hotkey: i
Required Equipment: None
Conditions: Three points of initiative.
Effect: Pushes the combat balance five steps in your favor

Did you have the 3 points of initiative?

If so there is also a chance that it will fail.

yep i had 3 points.

i did not know it could fail. then this happened surely.

Next time you report a bug you might want to test it out multiple times :/
