My character died!!

OMG! i was fishing in the river 1 minute ago and my character just died! i was not hungry! it also disappeared from my list at the log in screen!!

please help!!!

Did you skill swimming? If so, you probably drowned.

You probably misclicked unknowningly into the river and changed screens to wait for the fish, right? RIP. Rivers are dangerous.

i've probably misclicked when i was fishing but i was not skilled in swimming!


is it possible to re have my character back from a GM or do i have to start again from the beginning??
it would be very frustrating...

I don't know how you would have died near a river without the swimming skill.. are you sure? How low was your HHP at the time? Could you have been murdered?

nope. i was almost full hp and there was only a friend of mine near me.

i just clicked on the river to keep fishing. my character moves and died.

i'm pretty sure i didn't have the swimming skill, i'm kind of noob and i didn't waste my lp to got an useless skill


EDIT: my friend told me that something black spawn off from the water and i died.

Well the skill IS only 500LP, it was really tempting for me to grab early on and I did so without a second thought. That's the only way I can think you would have died unfortunately.

On a maybe brighter note, how far towards change were you at the time? Maybe you can reincarnate with some of your LP back. I doubt Jorb or Loftar will restore your character (though I guess it's worth a try).

i'm only playing for 2 days, i just have a +1 on change. how to reincarnate my character?
I'm pretty sure that i hadn't the swimming skill, that's why i tried to ask if someone could check a game log (does it exist) or something like that and restore my character... as you say... it's worth a try....

When you create a new character there will be a rune stone inside of the creation chamber which acts as a tombstone for your deceased one. Just right click on it to reincarnate, since you were only 1 into change you'll get a decent amount of LP back. You should PM Jorb and see if he can look into the matter. Be sure to tell him that you are certain you had no swimming skill.
