If you put the key to the Strongbox in the same Strongbox, then you can not open the Strongbox
This is not logical because when you open you use the key, which once closed, but since you put it in the Strongbox, you can not close it by the same key (in real life). To close it you should take a copy of the key.
It is not possible in real life

Actually some doors have some special kind of locks.
When you close your door, it's locked and you need a key to open it.
So you can forget your keys inside and not be able to enter.

I have that kind of lock. I got stucked outside a couple of time. A way to open back the door is to use a hard card (like payment card) and to make it goes between door and doorway where the lock is. (This technique is used in some movies).

Here is a swf to show it : http://www.lockpickingfrance.org/porte-claque.swf

I think if would have made self-closing palisade or brickwall - it would be much better.
I'd unlocked the door, would have left the key inside, and I'd walked out.I can jump back on my hearth fire

In this case, I would build a brick wall without gate

P.s. Sorry for my bad English, I use Google translate

Almost all locks in the modern world are like this. The ones requiring a key to lock are an exception, though they are becoming more common year after year. It's considered more secure that way, though it does present the hassle of locking your keys in your house, car, safe, etc. (Got pretty handy with a wire coat hanger when I first started driving...)

Thus: not a bug. Be more careful with what you do with your keys. You should be making a copy of any key and putting it on a keymaster alt, anyway. Make sure to take the mold to a water body and drop it in.

There are those here that don't use a translator and just use horrible, horrible English.

I'm thinking of some of the other posters that use English so broken that only a few can really puzzle out the meaning.
