Unfair death

Hi i'm using enders client. and i noticed while playing there is a red ring for the aggro radius of mobs...I have been grinding to hell on this game and just been killed by a boar that was hugely out of my aggro radius. i would appreciate it if someone could actually re-imberse my character fully. Normally i would never ask such a thing as i'm not silly enough to wander within ANY distance of a boar and if I did I would deserve the consequences. But while playing just now this boar just appeared RIGHT next to me from the other side of the screen and annhialated my character, and now i'm left sitting here thinking. WOW what a huge waste of time. I was REALLY starting to get into haven and hearth and i feel like all my progress has been taken away from me unfairly. As I said if I wandered into a raging wild animal that is MY fault. But this was most definately NOT my fault and feel it's just plain unfair. Any help with this issue would be appreciated as having all my skills/stats/LP/possesions taken away from me without a genuine reason is beyond silly.

People get killed while offline because they left theft scents taking their own boat off someone's claim (for example, when you get disconnected while on a claim, you can't log in back there). People get killed by animals because lag prevents them from moving. Hell, people have even died just standing still while swimming because they were immobilized by lag.

In Haven & Hearth, there is no such thing as an 'unfair death'. You can die at any moment for the most stupid of reasons unless you are just really careful and prepare well enough - armor could save you from a boar attack like that.

And this is the view that gets taken? if i get kiled because of the server lagging uo. its my fault because i didnt have armor? I'm not getting nasty with you but seriously if you can just be killed by lag and no one cares i think i'm personally going to reconsider my views on playing. i dont want to get this treatment everytime i get somewhere.

You're demanding the devs take special consideration for you because 3rd party software made by a player didn't prevent you from being killed by an in-game mechanic. Your inability to react accordingly to threats in this game are your fault and you can blame it on everything else all you'd like but that doesn't change the fact that you stood there and let a boar gore you. Learning and developing the skills to survive is part of the game as well and often comes at the cost of death. If you feel that the concept of perma death is too strict for you then I'm sorry but that isn't grounds for anything.

Well, I'm sorry you feel that way but it seems that responsibility has chosen its course for you. Your options now are to reincarnate or to not. The devs are not going make an exception to the core of the game for you.

Do me a favor and READ THE POST. there are no contradictions. I'll try to say it more clearly for you. But this was most definately NOT my fault and feel it's just plain unfair <-- Yes I feel it is

Do you see what i mean now? I'm not contradicting myself im saying if it was my fault then fine i'll take the punishment, but this was not my fault in any way and i feel robbed of my time and effort.

I didn't realize you were that emotionally charged at the moment and I apologize for agitating you but I assure you I have read your post. You're making excuses and exceptions for yourself so you're not accepting full, if any, responsibility in this matter. What you deem fair is really moot; we all judge things differently and while this seems like a crime to you it's really just part of the game. Animals are purposefully deadly and you can do everything in your power to avoid dying to them and still find yourself being chased down by a bear, or in this case beside a boar, and such is luck.

Now, if the server was purposefully lagging for only you and no one else in the game experienced any serverside lagg then your statement of it being unfair would be entirely true. However, this is not the case and so it is fair and even -- justice through equality. While no one appreciates the lagg it does not exempt you from death.

I can see Ghostless's point i've not long started playing myself and on a few occasions have come within an inch of dieing, trying to go arround a boar when a lag patch kicked in. I to would be very frustrated to lose what little I have at the moment, Are the lag spikes something we will just have to live with or is it possible that may change?
