Statues and flags

Hi there, unless I am simply to stupid, there seems to be no way to place statues in the outer (or the inner for that matter) radius of flags. Also flags cannot be destroyed. This is evolving to quite a pita for our village.

The dark circles can't overlap, this includes the one on the statue. You don't have to build it inside the village authority but they have to touch.

Try building it further away.

It doesn't feel right to me. I count out that it can be placed about 9-13 squares, give or take, away from claimed village land. There has to be a better way to represent this in the graphics.
