Yeah, that is so totally going to solve his issues... if the default client isn't running, he's probably not going to get Ender's running, either. (Ok, not always the case, but often times the issues blocking the default client running are going to block any other client from running.) However, there is a clear troubleshooting chart in The Wizards' Tower that might point out why the default client isn't running either. Also, we can't tell you want to fix if you can't tell us what's broken. If something isn't working right, computers (if programmed properly) are really good at spitting out diagnostic information. Tell us what the errors are and we might be able to tell you what to fix.
