Mmm, think I had a topic on this already ... but can't of course find it again. O well.
Just a general observation in relation to the random Client lockup behavior when using the client log-off feature.
- Characters inventory is assumed to be closed. (ergo: not tested with a open inventory.)
(mmm, as I generally close the Characters inventory before a log-off ... erm, I think I just found a additional todo. ... anyway)
If I wait around 3 to 4 seconds between typing ":lo " and the [Enter] to finalize the command. The change the client locks up seems to drop to near zero. ('near zero': has not failed me yet so far, as far as I can remember.)
- The space is just there because that's what I type. (other than that, its probably not significant.)
So ... there might be some stuff done when activation the cmd prompt that has a positive effect on the lockup issue. (as possible alternative way to find the real problem.) ... well, erm, maybe.
@Ender
Is this making any sense to you, client(default) code wise. (assuming its not some local to me issue of course.)
