Sorry i must have been sleeping while awake and had a mini panic attack seeing "invalid save".

Turns out my username was wrong! I checked to find my ID from the hearthlings list and found there was an extra letter on my username, probably due to the original being taken. Good thing that list is there or i would never have managed to log on again. I think there needs to be a lost username option along with password recovery on the log in page for stupid people like me.

Boy do i feel silly, good way to introduce yourself to the community eh??

Anyway, now the bug is simply being logged off with "invalid save" message whatever that means, and losing some items during the rollback which i didnt realise happened untill i read some forum posts complaining of missing stuff. Where is that information usually placed about server roll backs etc?

No, you can register as many accounts to one email as you want. I can think of a few companies that do this, but they're in the business of actually making money on their microtransaction game. Have you tried clearing HnH out of the Java cache? Could you provide the exact error messages generated? I know this pops up on occassion, but don't recall the root cause off the top of my head without a search.

Hi thanks for the reply,

I just tried clearing Java Cache but no help.

The error message was "invalid save" there may have been data on the end of it, but not sure. It popped up in red text on the login page of Enders client when i got logged off. Using the standard client didnt help log in either.

Now it tells me username or password incorrect

I tried to request a password reset to see if that would help and was told an email was sent, but never arrived and now it tells me to wait before requesting again.

The newly created account is working fine

I did a search of invalid save and found 2 other posts, but not very helpful as to the cause or a fix

Sounds like someone has stolen ur account and has now changed all the info. The message "Invalid save" pops up when another IP signs into your account and you try to sign in with the saved account info.

I hope thats not the case!
But i was playing at the time when i was logged out and then got the message.
No one has logged ontot the account to access any of the characters so far anyway.
If the account has been hacked somehow, is it possible to revert to originally registered email and reset password again?

Also experienced the odd rollback bug just before where i had made some rope from plants harvested from my farm, and the rope had disappeared from storage witht he contents reverting to before i placed rope in there, yet no plant fibres in inventory and the plants were still harvested, dont know if this may have been related in any way, but i saw other posters who had this issue but no one else not being able to log in anymore.
