Loom ain't working

It's repaired, it's indoors, I have enough plant fibres.
I tried to use it from every direction, even while sitting in a chair, yet the game keeps telling me "YOU NEED A LOOM TO MAKE LINEN CLOTH".
So I don't know what to do anymore, my whole home is cluttered with crates full of plant fibres. Anyone know why I can't use it?

Only a couple of things I can suggest. Try building a new one and see if it's user error or specific item error. Try moving it around and see if moving it "resets" it somehow. (You may not be getting close enough to actually interact with it and picking it up and putting it back down might fix.)

Sure you're right clicking on the loom? Sure you're on a character with the skills to make cloth?

FYI, it doesn't matter where it's at. They work anywhere.

I broke it and made a new loom, that sort of solved the problem, whatever kinda problem it was.
