also if you actually feel this is a bug with the forum software you should probably report it to phpbb but i strongly suspect it is a feature. i've sent myself a pm before.

I thought phpbb code was implemented per server running the board hence a bug in it a matter for actual sysop/board owner but meh, shows what i know. On the other hand if it's indeed a feature it's not like i have a problem with it.

You can send yourself e-mail from your e-mail as well. It's feature.

mostly it's just like "you look really nice today" and things like that but sometimes little reminders for me to read the next day.
