Hearth fire destroyed

In that little hiccup we just had (perhaps it was just me) my hearthfire vanished and I restarted at the standing stones.

I had recently moved it.

What's up with this?

My guess: Your old hearth fire getting removed got saved, but the new one being placed DIDN'T, since the parts of the map save at different times.

The one I had before I placed my new one was still there when I got back to my camp but the new one was gone. upon placing another my old one didn't disappear.

Your character was updated with having a new hearth fire, but the map didn't update the new fire, so your client is left looking for a fire that isn't there, therefor you start at the stones, and your old fire is stuck there useless. The same thing happened to my friend when we lost the new cabin with the cart update. Jorb came by replacing the cabin, and deleting the old hearth fire.

On the bright side, if your old hearth fire is in a spot not normally lit, you now have a never ending light for that spot.
