Getting kicked and disconnected

I keep getting disconnected from playing, it can be 5 minutes after i log on or as soon as i press play.
Other times i can stay logged in for about 10 minutes but no longer then that. I play on a wireless connection but so does my brother and he never gets kicked. I have the newest version of Java and i play on enders client. My connected is always good and never disconnect from anything but H&H.
Trying to play through the disconnections is worse then playing through the lag.

If you have any ideas on how to fix this that would be helpfull

*cough* Newest version of Java... I've had this problem. Install Java 6, and umm... Get a better laptop. Worked for me.

I have java 6 and im playing on a desktop computer. It's newer and faster then my laptop that lags and you have to play on fullscreen mode for it to be faster

Very odd. Fullscreen lags me more than... Non-fullscreen does. However, you should definitely look into your internet issues. I have those, too. I moved from a city to a rural area (I think that's the word) and my internet just keeps poking my balls. Meh... I guess you could get a better provider which I personally can't afford... FML
