Getting res files from http

Postby Arcanist » Mon Jun 17, 2013 1:46 pm

A lot of people are reporting crashes when they come across a new res file. I myself crash when I try to craft hardened leather, since I don't have the res for any wax.

Any idea when this will be fixed?

Dunno, but they should just upload the .res files somewhere, so we can download them manually.

But I've no idea where to put them. If anyone who knows java, it's one line of code in resource.class adding an 's' into a http

I've no idea how recompile though :/

Hopefully the secure website will be up again soon.

Just download haven-res-jar.rar. Unrar it and put haven-res.jar in your game directory.
Where you have run.bat, haven.jar, haven-res.jar and all other files. (overwrite when asked while copying)

grab mvgulik have-res.jar
viewtopic.php?f=27&t=30126
- rename existing one - copy mvgulik one into Ender

but prolly http access works again so res files might too
