Can't use my boat anymore

Well me and a friend were riding around in my boat, and we decided to stop and switch places so i could drive, but when we got out we accidentaly exited onto someones land, now we can't move and we can't use the boat, whenever we try to use it it says "This land is owned by Goon educational authority".

Your friend should have been able to enter it regardlessly, since he was the one to drive it last. I'm pretty sure I've tested that; are you really sure it doesn't work?

Yes we're sure, we tried for about 5 minutes nonstop.

Alright, it's fixed now, we had to relog a bunch and do a lotta walking but after about 30 tries we finally were able to get in the boat.

Weird indeed. I just tried it myself and had no problems reentering a boat that I left on a claim. I'll keep it in mind.
