mac white screen on start up, i need help.

well my friend needs the help so can someone post the fix client to make this problem disappear, along with exact step by step instructions on how to make it work. I couldn't find anything on this.

Most players don't use mac, and there's no details on what crash reports (if any) the game is sending. Details of that nature would be helpful, but why doesn't your friend post his/her own problem?

It'd also help if this was in bugs where the more tech savvy players hang out. HDI? tends to be for gameplay issues. I'll ask a mod to move it.

How do get this client to work on my Mac?

Might be a foolish question, but is there any way to get the latest version running on a Mac? Been trying to update it on my girlfriend's computer for months to no avail. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

There are quite a few steps that I was planning on writing a guide for sometime but I also don't want to uninstall my currently working Enders in order to figure out all the steps necessary.

A few of which are as follows though:

1. Change the commands in your run.bat to follow OSX format. It should look something like this:

java -Xms256m -Xmx512m -jar haven.jar moltke.seatribe.se -r ./res

2. chmod 777 the entire contents of the extracted Haven directory (no idea if this actually matters or not but it's been suggested in the past. It will be one of the things I check when I do an actual writeup)
3. Switch your java version to 32bit. Do this by opening Applications>Utilities>Java Preferences and dragging the 32bit version first.
4. Install JOGL. This is the tricky one. You should just be able to copy the jogl files included with the Enders download as well as these (http://www.java2s.com/Code/Jar/j/Downlo ... saljar.htm) to your SYSTEM/LIBRARY/JAVA/EXTENSIONS folder.

If that's above your head then I'm sorry but that's all the further in detail I can go at the moment. Hopefully you'll be able to get it working.

Guess you're talking about Ender client?!?

Make sure you have the needed jogl and gluegen libaries - get them from this allplatforms package:

unpack and copy all mac libaries into Ender folder

the game didnt work from the start. as soon as he got the game the white box would show up, so this is what fixes that problem? neither of us have the ender client because it simply doesn't work. I tried changing the bat file to a million different inputs and all it does is bring up the ender client, and when i click log in it closes the program.

Also check that you have your OS updated - especially the graphic driver + Java!

Give Informations: What MacOsX version, what Java version...and if you have another graphic than Intel tell too
