cannot remove a bed

hi everyone

i managed to build a sturdy bed, and i want to destroy ye olde straw bed placed in my log cabin.
in fact i cant destroy/repair/lift it, i think because i placed it "too far" in the corner of the room.
do i need a divine intervention for this?

Simple bug with a simple fix. Just right click and choose to sleep, then as your character is walking towards it click away. Then you should be able to pick it up/destroy it.
