Trying to log in via ender's. I get to my character selection, click my guy then hit either spawn at HF or last spot and nothing happens. SOMETIMES it comes in but everything is black. Then I just use standard Java and it takes forever but I do get in and its too laggy to play, and I notice the Lag-o-meter is reading 40 so could that be the problem? I'm still new I don't know what is considered high but it's been like this for 2 days now. Any thoughts?

Most likely your computer sucks.

But post your specs please.

Also you might try running the client on one core only

The past week is has been just fine and completely laggless. I thought the server was down originally.

possible reasons:

something on your PCs software changed (i.e. updates, drivers)

your Provider did a different routing

Tried to find a previous thread but was unable too. I have been experiencing extreme lag and I can't even open ender's mod. I checked my task manager and Java is taking up 100% of my CPU. Has anyone heard of this before? I have the latest java and I have found stories of Java taking up a lot of CPU but no real solutions to the problem. A week ago it was all running fine but 2 days ago I'm assuming java started taking up all my CPU. Any thoughts?

whats your amount of RAM, what processor do you have & how much free hard disk space.

Normally running HnH shouldn't get your Java up to 100% CPU

If you're on Windows you might grab Process Explorer

to check whether there are any other processes / threads are using Java

to disable some autorunning stuff (i.e. Java Quick Start or update sheduler) use

I've been using an older rig because my good PC has issues running it and turns out the old rig is in worse shape than I thought gave me BSD and wouldn't turn on after a while so I am reinstalling windows hopfully that will work but thanks very much for your help.
