Animals stop mating after server crashes

The only way it seems to fix itself is if the server crashes again.

Experienced this once last world and 2x this world.

Male is in a pen with 10 or so females but will not mate... unloading the area by staying logged out doesn't resolve the issue. tried leashing the male and walking him around away from females...

I figure that the server crashed in the middle of the male mating or something..

Last time this occurred there was a week long stretch without a server crash so our cows fell a week behind. Directly after the server crashed a second time the male mated with every single female.

Currently right now our male is not mating... so we sit and hope for a crash... as weird as that sounds...

anyone else run into this? mostly big villages with tons of cows would notice...as the food troughts go from eating 3 a day to less then half a food trough. all cows are in the same minimap square... so its not like the male unloaded at a different time then the female.

any thoughts?
