A test on negative quality honey

Postby Jeff » Fri Nov 13, 2009 11:11 am

Well, as i told in another thread, i've got that -2^31 honey some days ago. I've got that even yesterday. So i told myself, why not do some tests?
Here is what i discovered. Phase one, do a test char. I've named it Test'O'Char. I've then bought baking, and i've done the tests.
First i baked some delicious honey buns. I've used 0.3 liter -2^31 honey and 0.4 liter of -500~ milions i've got yesterday (the quality is averaged when you take the honey, that seems to be always -2^31 q; since i had some normal low quality honey, the result is near to (-2^31/4)q honey; by the way, putting together two negative quality honey gives positive q1 honey) .
This is the result of baking those honey buns.

Then i decided to eat one of them. They didn't give me feps. Obviously, since their quality is below 0. I've been expecting that. So i've eaten other foods (the bread you're given at the start of the game). And i've got this.

FEP overloading. Or i should say a negative number of feps. They aren't displayed, of course, but they bring the FEP counter in a huuuge negative state. The game don't visualize negative numbers of feps, but they are still there and they are the reason why i can't take that cos point. I hope this can help in resolving these problems.

Oh, well, their quality degrades after a while and they give q1 honey then. And almost no one has access to my home anyway.
But, well, the matter now is to understand why they get bugged in their creation (an average on the materials needed - and all of them were positive - cannot result on a negative number. Since we have got another case of fep overloading and another case of negative lp, it is possible that someone else got them; or that the problem can happens with other types of food too).

That's the next step, reincarnate with negative LP. It logically shouldn't do anything, but do it anyway.

What happens if you try to buy skills or otherwise spend LP?
It probably does nothing, but there's some odd things that might happen.
Surprise.
