Causing crashes on taming

Postby Xcom » Wed Jan 08, 2014 12:59 am

Me and Romovs were out taming some Muflans and must have caused the crash.

The first time it happened was right after I finished taming a sheep. Then the server reseted itself and we found by shear luck a 2nd herd. When we finished fencing them in we proceeded to taim the 2nd herd. Somehow when I finished taming the sheep that I was taming the crash happened again just like the last time.

Im quite sure it was my taming that caused the crash cause it happened twice in a row within 20 min.

No idea why as I have tamed sheep before without issues. Dono if this have any relation to the matter but right before the crashes started I was taiming a sheep that just didn't want to get tamed. I kept taming him and he didn't get any taming percentages. After I gave up on him I started to taim another one. That's when the crash happened the first time, when I finished taming it. The second time the crash happened it was just similar to the first crash. I finished taming the sheep and poof, crash.

The server probably couldn't handle the shear luck of it all.

You're aware that english is not everyones 1st language - mocking about incorrect writing is nothing but arrogant...

How long was the server down for when this happened to you the other day?

Loftar looked into it quite fast and rebooted fairly quickly. But I guess if he has to look into the problem it might be taking a short bit longer.

Build a brickwall around those herds and sell "server crash" as a service.

A big faction is losing a fight:
