Can't put ancestral shrine in boat

My ancestral shrine was stolen!

So I made another one and planned to take it with me when I move.

I can't put it on my boat.

Is this deliberate, to make it hard to move away from your ancestral home? Or is it a bug?

Please, I really want to move and I really want to take my shrine with me.

At least tell me if I have no choice but to abandon the shrine when I go.

Has anyone else ever successfully put a shrine in a boat?

Can't you just destroy it and build another at your new location?

You lose half the numen points if you do that, IIRC.
