Character disappeared

Hey there
Today I wanted to login on my character Archibald the third and I couldn't find it on my characters list. I was really surprised since I logged out normally-I wasn't in combat, I was in safe place and now there's no sign of my character. I checked the area with other char twice, there's no body. Also the hearth fire is gone. And I mean gone, disappeared. It's not like it changed in normal fireplace like it usually does when character dies.
Any idea what happened? The only logical explanation for me is that it's a bug? If it is so is there a chance to get my character back?

it sounds like you got summon killed, did you leave scents and have no hearthfire?

try to create a new character and see if the runestone of your old char is there.

Or his HF got bashed

aye probably bashed and moved to a vault to do the summoning ritual. or they killed him over the walll if hf was in range and have such high stealth + int that u cannot see the scents. Only takes an hour to take the corpse home.
