I regret reporting this, it's so fun! Anyway, it takes a second to change from a tankard of beer to an empty tankard after it is drunk, and if you move it from you inventory to a chest in that time it just won't change. So yea, infinite beer.

I cannot reproduce this at all. Can someone verify?

You aren't talking about the second that it actually takes to drink a gulp of beer, right? I cannot see that anything would be effected before that interval has expired.

It's hard to replicate, sometimes it works every time, sometimes never. Try transferring it at different times, I may be mistaken.
